We never sell your personal data.
3. Who processes your data for us
Squarespace — website hosting and contact form (Squarespace Inc., USA)
MailerLite — newsletter delivery (EU-based servers)
Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, only after you consent (Google LLC, USA)
Gumroad and Payhip — sell and deliver our paid digital products. They act as the retailer/merchant for your purchase and process your payment under their own privacy policies (, ). We never see your full card details — we receive only your name, email and order information.
Where a provider is outside the UK (Squarespace, Google, Gumroad), transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy decision.
4. Cookies
Essential cookies — set by Squarespace to make the site work (security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice). These are always on.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — set only if you click Accept in the cookie banner. They tell us which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. They persist for up to 2 years.
You can change your mind at any time: reopen the cookie banner via the "Manage Cookies" link in the footer (➡ Squarespace: Settings → Cookies & Visitor Data — make sure the banner is set to require opt-in with an equal Accept/Reject choice), or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. How long we keep your data
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Inactive subscribers are deleted after 2 years.
Unsubscribes: your email is suppressed immediately; a minimal record is kept for 90 days to honour the unsubscribe.
Contact form messages and emails: up to 12 months after our last exchange.
Purchase records: 7 years (HMRC requirement).
Analytics data: up to 26 months, then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect processing already carried out).

7. Children
This site is written for working adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
8. Changes
We'll update this page when anything changes and revise the effective date above. Significant changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be announced by email.
